Junior Engineer; assistant to Senior Engineer. My responsibility was to help tune the filters as well as the overall system, troubleshot any design issues and to work with QA and NPI to launch the product into production.
Description:
Six channels of amplification, each channel using a full bridge chip amplifier that ran directly off 14.4VDC vehicle power bus. Electronic crossovers, limiters and extensive multi-pole boost and cut filters were incorporated to allow precise tuning of the vehicle. An innovative “Fletcher Munson” compensator was also part of this circuit to serve as an acoustically pleasing loudness control.
